Don’t Be afraid (08)

Maybe you doubt the words that are spoken to you through these written things… because you don’t see an example of what you read… it’s just another written text, but you don’t see the proof of it…
You don’t see that love, that power, that light – where is it?
It’s in The Lord, and He expresses it through all creation, because everything He has created is good...
‘And God saw all that he had made, and, behold, it was very good…’ Genesis 1:31 ACF Bible online
But you need to see it in people too – in those who ‘talk about God’. ‘They’ talk – but then they have attitudes… they say words… they do things that make you sad and confused, because they talk, but you don’t see light, you don’t see love, you don’t see good words, attitudes… .
When what ‘comes out’ of us: our language, communication – what we say, do… – corresponds to what is in us (inside us), this is called Integrity.
We can compare actions to fruit and people to trees, just to give us an example. It is written:
‘You will know them by their fruits. Do you gather grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? So every good tree bears good fruit, and every bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them.’ Matthew 7:16-20 ACF Bible online
The Lord did not come to condemn us, but to save us, as we have already seen…
‘For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved.’ John 3:16-17 ACF Online Bible
And not only does He call us to The Father, but He also teaches us the Truth…
‘Jesus said to him, “I am the way and the truth and the life; no one comes to the Father except through me.”‘ John 14:6 ACF Online Bible
The example of the tree – which bears fruit according to its species – shows that you can’t get lemons from an orange tree – because the orange tree produces oranges.
Therefore, it is right that if someone tells you something, they should be sincere, so that you can trust them. If you want to talk to a sincere person, a child of God, in order to be saved, The Lord will bring that person to you, or He will bring you to that person/church. You can be introduced to a new person, or receive an invitation…
Don’t be afraid. The Word of The Lord tells us:
‘In love there is no fear, but perfect love casts out fear…’ I John 4:18 ACF Online Bible
As we have already seen, in the Bible, the word fear can mean the fear of The Lord: as a deep and serious respect for His Person, authority, power, holiness – for all that The Lord God IS…
…but it can also mean to be afraid. Because we know that in the language of different languages, there are words that have similar meanings, so there are synonyms, for example, and a word can be used to say similar things.
True Love casts out fear. And when we are truly loved, we can trust, and we don’t need to be afraid.
When the opportunity arises, you’ll recognize ‘the tree’ by the fruit it bears. Does the lemon tree bear lemons? And are the lemons good? From the answer – yes or no – you’ll know if you can trust it.
Don’t be afraid.
The Word of God is read and taught in many different churches around the world. You’re not going against anything or anyone, you are free to decide for yourself what you want for yourself and your family. God created us, and for His children to be family – He is a God of family…
DON’T BE AFRAID
